This collection of necklaces, rings, and pendants reimagines traditional hand and serpent patterns found in Roman, Medieval, Renaissance, and Victorian jewellery, imbuing each piece with fresh meaning and artistic depth.
E2J is a unique series by London based jewellery designer Lena Esaulova, inspired by Victorian symbolical motifs

Each piece transforms this universal symbol into a functional clasp—and a gesture rich with meaning. Across cultures, hands speak in silent languages: of love, strength, unity, or defiance. At E2J, these gestures are both poetic and practical, inviting each wearer to find a personal connection through their own cultural lens and values.

HIGHLIGHTS

Boutonnieres
Jewels that sit at the intersection of personal statement and identity. Worn alone, they can anchor a look with quiet intensity—or become part of a larger E2J ensemble. Whether paired or independent, each one speaks with its own clear, deliberate voice.

Pomanders
Sculptural hand-shaped vessels crafted from unglazed English porcelain. Rooted in the tradition of wearable scent containers, they can be worn as a pendant or a brooch. Each piece is hollow and tactile, designed to hold a solid perfume or a personal token—quietly bridging beuty, function, and ritual.

Gimmel rings
Contemporary interpretations of a centuries-old form—rings composed of interlocking bands that open to reveal a hidden unity. The central elements are interchangeable, allowing each wearer to create a personal combination of forms, stones etc.

Necklaces
Combine sculptural design with subtle adaptability. Strands may be composed of modern, antique or vintage beads, each with its own history and texture. At the heart of every piece are two signature hand pendants—one of which conceals a clasp mechanism. This hidden function allows the necklace to be transformed, adjusting its length or shape to suit the wearer and the moment.

Hand-shaped pendants
Pendants shaped as hands—each expressing a different gesture or delicately holding a gemstone. Crafted in various materials, with textured finishes, some set with stones, others left pure.

SNAKE SERIES
The serpent was a beloved motif in Victorian jewelry, embodying rebirth, immortality, wisdom, danger, temptation, eroticism, protection, and strength — all coiled into one powerful symbol. It’s impossible to explore the symbolism of jewelry without encountering the snake.
